@velo/crown-base (0.1.0)
Installation
@velo:registry=npm install @velo/crown-base@0.1.0"@velo/crown-base": "0.1.0"About this package
@velo/crown-base
The starting point for Crownfall's shared TypeScript engine library. The initial API is a small hello-world function; game engine capabilities can be added here as they are extracted from the game.
Build
From this directory, install the package's development dependency and compile the TypeScript:
npm install
npm run build
The compiler writes JavaScript, source maps, and type declarations to dist/. The package tarball
contains that output and this README.
Forgejo npm registry
The package is published to the Forgejo npm registry owned by velo:
https://git.amhk.dk/api/packages/velo/npm/
Create a Forgejo access token with package read permission to install, and package write permission
to publish. Set it in your shell as FORGEJO_PACKAGE_TOKEN, then configure npm. npm stores the
token in the user's config file; keep that file private and never commit it.
npm config set @velo:registry https://git.amhk.dk/api/packages/velo/npm/
npm config set -- '//git.amhk.dk/api/packages/velo/npm/:_authToken' "$FORGEJO_PACKAGE_TOKEN"
To install the library in another project:
npm install @velo/crown-base
To publish manually, first build and then publish against the Forgejo registry:
npm run build
npm publish --registry=https://git.amhk.dk/api/packages/velo/npm/
The repository workflow publishes on tags named crown-base-v*. Set the tag version to the
package's version in package.json; Forgejo rejects a version that already exists. The
PACKAGE_REGISTRY_TOKEN Actions secret must belong to an account with package write access.
Forgejo package visibility follows the owning user's or organization's visibility. Linking this
package to the private Crownfall repository does not make the package public; public package reads
depend on the velo owner's visibility and the Forgejo instance's package access settings.
